Docket Passed House, as amended.  Voted ITL by the Senate in a voice vote.

SPONSORS: Rep. Sova, Graf 10; Rep. Winter, Merr 3; Rep. LaCasse, Sull 4

DNHPE Comment: This passed the House today, January 5, 2012, amended to eviscerate DOE rule making authority.  It is well explained here.

Official Analysis: This bill establishes a committee to study the abolishment of the department of education.

Amended to restrict its rule making and put the legislature in charge. (retained in committee; active work going on on it)
